Joe Alfaro, who recently received his second recognition of another 500,000 units sold from Universal–Thump records, entered the music scene in 1978. As an accomplished musician himself, he developed an impressive understanding of a variety of musical styles coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit which led him from musician to producer and studio owner. Joe hopped into the MIDI and digital audio revolution in its infancy and now does technical support for the world’s leading manufacturers of hard disk recording systems.

Joe has expert knowledge of PC based non-linear recording and editing tools such as Sonar, Soundforge, Nuendo, Cubase – expert MIDI production and editing skills, records and edits samples for multiple sampler formats, provides CD mastering of quality Red Book compatible and duplication ready audio CD’s using computer based software and hardware tools. His processing of audio for multimedia includes high quality sample rates and bit resolution conversions and he is proficient with all common digital audio formats.
